Help shape the council’s budget for 2027/28 

Every year, we look at the services people need and how these can be funded from the resources the council has access to. 

Funding for our day-to-day council services comes from three main sources: Council Tax, Business Rates and government grants, with each contributing around a third of the total of our net budget. 

To make sure we can continue providing important services, we look for ways to save money and deliver services more efficiently while still meeting the needs of our communities. 

We want to understand what matters most to residents before decisions are made. This survey should take around 10 minutes to complete. Your feedback will help inform budget decisions for 2027/28.
