Overview

Healthwatch organisations are statutory, independent champions for people who use health and social care services. Each Council is required by the Health and Social Care Act 2012 to ensure that an independent Healthwatch organisation operates within its area. Find out more here:

 

 

Healthwatch Sandwell are responsible for ensuring that local voices are heard, and people’s views and experiences are used to improve existing provision and to help shape future services. In addition, where concerns and problems in relation to services have been identified, Healthwatch will inform the relevant people and ensure that action is taken to resolve these issues, contributing to better experiences for people using heath and social care services.

The current Healthwatch Sandwell contract is due for renewal by October 2024. Sandwell Council wishes to engage with you, Sandwell residents, and partners in health and social care, people who use services and their families to shape the new Healthwatch provision.

If you wish to share your views in a different way then please  contact ASC Admin asc_admin@sandwell.gov.uk and request contact regarding Healthwatch by 5th March 2024.

All information will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Personal information will be held solely for the purposes of the consultation and to analyse the responses. The information will be held for a period of 6 months.
