Consultation on Sandwell's Draft PNA
Overview
Every 3 years we have to review Chemist Services in Sandwell, as part of our Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA).
The PNA looks at the current state of pharmaceutical services (like chemists) in an area, including what services they offer and their locations.
It also considers the future needs of the population, taking into account demographics, health trends, and potential changes in the types of services that might be needed.
The PNA is a key tool for the NHS Integrated Care Board and Sandwell Health and Wellbeing Board when making decisions about commissioning new pharmacies or expanding existing services.
Why your views matter
Sandwell is currently seeking views from members of the public and other stakeholders on whether they agree with the contents of this draft PNA and whether it addresses issues that they consider relevant to the provision of pharmaceutical services.
Feedback gathered will be presented in the final report in December.
The data collected will be used in the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment which will be publicly available on our website. All information you provide will remain anonymous. Please refer to our privacy statement for further details.
Please refer to the full Draft PNA or Executive Summary and other related documents before completing the relevant survey.
Please complete the public survey if you are a Sandwell resident or other member of the public.
Please complete the professional survey if you are responding to the consultation as an elected Member or on behalf of a stakeholder or organisation.
