Suggest a topic for Sandwell Scrutiny 2024-25

Overview

This form allows you to suggest topics for Sandwell's Scrutiny Boards to consider.  Not all topics can be taken forward, but all will be considered by councillors for review.

Scrutiny can't get involved in local issues (for example things affecting a street or small neighbourhood), or things like planning applications or licensing issues, but it is able to look at anything else that affects the people or borough of Sandwell.

If you have more than one topic you would like to suggest it would really help us keep track of things if you could submit them separately.  

Please submit any topics by the end of March 2024. Thank you!

Why your views matter

All responses will be shared with the councillors who make up the various Scrutiny Boards.  They will then agree which topics and issues can be looked at during 2024/25.

What happens next

We'll now compile all the responses and share them with the councillors on the Scrutiny Boards when they are appointed in May.

The Scrutiny Boards will then decide which topics and issues they will include on their work programmes for 2024/25.
