Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Local Offer website Parent Carer Survey - 2025
Overview
Sandwell is in the process of reviewing and redesigning its Local Offer website! This is a great chance to make sure it does exactly what families need. We want your ideas to help us build something brilliant.
This survey will be open for 4 weeks. Please share it with other families too - the more people who tell us what they think, the better we can make it!
What is the SEND Local Offer
The SEND local Offer provides information about provision, services and support families can expect to be available across education, health and social care for children and young people who have a Special Educational Need (SEN) or are disabled, including those who do not have Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans.
It should help you find:
- Schools and colleges that can help your child
- Health services like doctors and therapists
- Fun activities and clubs
- Help with money and benefits
- Support groups for families
- Transport and travel help
- Housing support
- Information about your rights
The Local Offer website should be easy to use and help you find what you need quickly. The law says every council must have a Local Offer. It's really important that families like yours help to shape it so that it works for everyone who needs it.
