Friar Park Pride In Place

Overview

The Pride In Place Programme will see up to £20milliion funding for Friar Park over the next 10 years.  

The Friar Park Pride In Place Neighbourhood Board is launching a range of ways to listen to the community.  Organisations and trusted places are able to apply for funding to conduct their own engagement / listening campaigns with Friar Park people. 

  • Up to £250 is available for each workshop or listening activity to help fund costs like room hire, materials and refreshments for attendees  
  • Organisations working in or with people from Friar Park can apply, please note funding is not available to Individuals
  • An organisation may ask for funding for more than one session or activity, a separate application is required for each activity
  • If you want to run activities but don’t need any money, please still apply 
  • You will need to use a set of logos on any materials you produce and submit a short report detailing your findings  
  • Templates to assist with your report findings will be provided
  • Please check the boundary map (below) for the Friar Park Pride in Place area
  • Funding is limited so please apply as soon as possible.  The closing date for applications is 11 September 2026   
  • Activities must be delivered and reports submitted by no later than 18 September 2026

Once your application has been approved we will provide you with an information pack / logos and promotional material.  Upon completion of your activity you will be required to

Reporting your findings

When you finish your activity, we will ask you to fill in a report detailing:

  • The overall number of people involved in your activity / session and their connection to Friar Park
  • The numbers of people who participated (as per groups identified in Question 5)
  • The top 3 ideas raised about
    • What are you already proud of?
    • What do you think the key issues are?
    • What actions would you like the Board to prioritise?
    • What do you want Pride in Place to achieve?
  • One other big idea that you want the Pride in Place Board to be aware of
  • Feedback from people taking part
  • What went well
  • Anything you might do differently

We will also ask you to share some photos of the materials you used and / or the session(s) taking place (please get permission of people being pictured).

Payment will be made upon receipt of an invoice after the completion of your activity and submission of your report.
